How we deliver a website, from first call to go-live

25 October 2026 · Mahmood Usman · TUS Global

Every business website we deliver follows the same path. We map how your business actually works before designing anything. We build the site on a private preview address that you test on your own phone. When you sign off, that exact site moves to your domain — nothing is rebuilt or re-uploaded at launch. Then we run a fixed set of launch checks, and fix any error of ours free for 30 days.

Most business websites go from first conversation to live in about two weeks once we have your content. This is what happens in those two weeks, and why each step is there.

1. We map how your business works first

Before any screen is designed, we map the real workflow behind the website. Where do enquiries come from today? Who answers them, and how quickly? What do customers always ask before they buy? What happens after someone fills in a form?

A website designed without those answers looks finished and works badly. The contact form sends to an inbox nobody checks. The services are described the way the business talks about itself, not the way customers search. Mapping first is the cheapest point to get those things right, because nothing has been built yet.

2. Scope, price and timeline in writing

You get a firm figure in writing within one working day of us understanding what you need, along with the pages, the timeline, and what's included in revisions. For a business website, payment is 50% to start and 50% on completion.

For a standard business website we go straight from the agreed scope into the build. For web applications — portals, booking systems, anything with logins — we agree the screen designs with you first, because changing an application's structure after it's built is expensive for everyone.

3. Built on a private preview address

We build your site on a preview address of ours, such as yourbusiness.tusglobal.tech. It's a real, working website: you open it on your own phone, fill in the forms, click every link, and share it with your team for their view.

The preview is hidden from search engines, so Google never indexes an unfinished version of your site or shows it to your customers before you're ready.

As I write this, a printing company in Singapore, is reviewing its new website on exactly this kind of preview address. When they sign off, it moves to their own domain.

4. You sign off, then the same site goes live

Once you approve the preview, going live is a change of address, not a rebuild. We connect your domain to the website you've already tested, so the site you approved is exactly the site your customers see. Nothing is copied, rebuilt or uploaded again at the last minute, which is where launch-day surprises usually come from.

5. The checks we run before every launch

Every launch goes through the same list, whatever the size of the site:

  • Tested on real phones, not only a laptop browser.
  • Page speed checked.
  • Every form tested end to end, until the message actually arrives in the right inbox.
  • A broken-link scan, plus a check that every link goes where it was designed to go.
  • SSL in place, with every http address redirecting to https.
  • Google Analytics and Search Console connected.
  • A title and description written for every page.
  • The preview shown when the site is shared on WhatsApp or social media, and the browser icon.

None of these is difficult. They are easy to forget on the one day everyone is excited about the launch, which is why they're a list rather than a memory.

6. You own everything

On full payment, the design, code and content are yours. Your domain stays in your name. Services the site depends on, such as the email system that sends your form enquiries, are set up in your business's name rather than ours, so nothing breaks or gets held hostage if you ever move to another provider.

7. After launch

For 30 days after launch, we fix any error on our side at no charge. That covers things we got wrong. It doesn't cover new content, or changes to a design you've already approved — those are handled as normal work, and we'll tell you the cost before doing them.

After that, the site is yours to run. If you'd rather not think about hosting, backups, updates and small changes, we can look after them for a fixed monthly fee under our managed IT service. It's optional.
